Thanks to a technological miracle, every day on Betruvia Major is Christmas: whatever the heart desires can be created. It is hoped the same technology can bring a real-life Santa Claus to life. But when the Doctor discovers the sinister truth behind this world, the Betruvians may destroy themselves by yielding to these temptations.
