We’re about to embark on a new and exciting season of adventures in time and space with the Eleventh Doctor and Maggie Weitz.
The Doctor Who Project Season 45 debuts this Saturday, April 27th. The season will be published over 11 weeks featuring nine original stories – three of which are two-part adventures. The season will be divided into two blocks – Season 45A & B - with the first five stories being released April 27 to May 18, with the remaining four stories released September/October.
Season 45 debuts with “The Sawbones and The Grey Fox” by Hamish Crawford which sees the Doctor and Maggie arrive in 1904 Canada and encounter the famous Canadian train robber Bill Miner aka ‘The Grey Fox’.
The second story is “Fur and The Sky” by Mark Horrocks sees our two travelers get involved in the search for the Arizona Bigfoot.
When the Doctor receives a mysterious distress from a fellow Time Lord in the two-part adventure “Raising The Oberon” by Mark Horrocks, the TARDIS lands the duo on the sunken scientific research vessel Oberon.
The first part of the season ends with the midseason cliffhanger, “Age of The Ice Warriors” by Matt Tovey, the Doctor and Maggie encounter the Ice Warriors on a strange Earth-like planet that resembles Medieval Europe.
The second half of the season which will include the two-part “Dead God’s Carnival” by Miles Reid-Lobatto, “Expiration Date” by R. Morgan Crihfield followed by the two=part season finale, “The Last Doctor” by Hamish Crawford will follow in the latter part of 2024.
Season 45B will also include a fourth as of yet titled story. |
